Originally from Texas, Dr. Alex has been an athlete her entire life and developed a love for health and an active lifestyle at a young age. She spent her childhood and into college playing competitive tennis, and is now an avid paddler.

She has over 10 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and 8 years as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, where she specializes in orthopedic and musculoskeletal pain and injuries. She has pursued her professional passions by completing numerous continuing education certifications in complex assessment and treatment of mobility and motor control problems, manual therapy techniques, nutrition and health coaching, and yoga to serve her clients with the best possible care. 

In her free time, Dr. Alex can be found paddling, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys training in the gym, traveling, beach days, cooking, reading, and pursuing creative projects.

I started experiencing increased wrist pain & swelling as my outrigger canoe season went into long distance training. After experiencing increased, more acute pain, I thankfully was referred to Alex. After a full assessment and determining the causes, she did some much needed release work & educated me on a home exercise program. I’m happy to report I am back to paddling and just did a 5 mile OC1 race in the mainland with NO pain or irritation to the wrist. Don’t hesitate seeing her, she is the Best!!
